The conversations centered on strengthening trade and investment links between the United Arab Emirates and Germany, with particular focus on the private sector’s contribution to innovation in industry, artificial intelligence, and clean energy projects. Sheikh Mohamed reiterated that the UAE remains dedicated to fostering a competitive investment climate through supportive legislation, advanced regulatory systems, and access to international logistics routes. With bilateral non-oil trade reaching €13.4 billion, the UAE President’s meeting with German business leaders underscored the expanding economic integration connecting European manufacturing hubs with Middle Eastern trading networks.

This diplomatic engagement coincided with the Munich-based bilateral business forum, where government officials and corporate executives signed 30 memoranda of understanding and commercial agreements totaling €9.66 billion. Official statements from the Emirates News Agency confirmed that these accords focus on high-growth sectors such as advanced manufacturing, renewable energy, robotics, healthcare tech, and port infrastructure. UAE Minister for Foreign Trade Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi highlighted that the total UAE investments in Germany have increased to €34.5 billion, demonstrating robust institutional capital flows between the two nations.
