The discussions addressed political coordination as well as economic and development-related cooperation, with particular attention given to trade, investment and sustainable development sectors. Both leaders reviewed existing ties and explored opportunities to enhance collaboration in line with national development priorities.

Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week serves as an international platform bringing together government leaders, policymakers, industry executives and international organizations to discuss global sustainability challenges. The annual event focuses on renewable energy, climate action, innovation, and sustainable economic growth. The meeting between the UAE President and the Montenegrin Prime Minister took place amid a broader program of official dialogues and partnerships announced during the week.

The agreement aims to support cooperation between the two countries in investment-related fields and to facilitate the exchange of expertise and information. Officials indicated that the memorandum is intended to provide a framework for identifying potential areas of collaboration and encouraging mutually beneficial economic activity.
